Collecting

We understand how stressful and complicated the removal of goods from a site can be.

We endeavour to make this process as easy as possible for customers by aiding you in organising a suitable transport service. Transport is carried out by a contractor in the shipping and removal industry.

Please contact if you need us to organise all or part of your shipping.

Please note: Once the items have been cleared Bidnet Auctions can assist in arranging suitable transport for your items however, Bidnet Auctions will not accept any responsibility for damage caused in loading, transit and offloading.

Please note: Bidnet Auctions advise you to have suitable protection in the form of insurance cover arranged for your item at the fall of the hammer. Removal of items is solely the responsibility of the purchaser and/or those collecting on their behalf.

Access to the site will not be permitted until all the necessary documentation is completed and approved by us.

Am I able to remove the goods myself?

Yes, providing that you or your contractor can fulfill the following criteria:

  • Public Liability Insurance.
  • Licensing.
  • Suitable Method Statement.
  • Risk Assessment.
  • Permit to Work.
  • Capability and Competence.

We will happily grant you access to the site once we have approved all the documentation required.

Due to health and safety legislation, we would require you or your chosen contractor to fulfil all the criteria that we apply to our suggested contractors (see above).

Access to the site will not be permitted until all necessary documentation is completed and approved by us.

For off-site Auctions do we Dismantle or Disconnect Utility Services?

Unfortunately, not. We strongly advise that you take into consideration the removal, decommissions and transportation of all items and consider the costs associated before placing any bids.

Please note: Bidnet Auctions are happy to provide help in organising a suitable contractor should this be necessary.

Do we package items ready for transport?

Bidnet Auctions will (in selected cases) package products for transport at an additional cost. Please get in touch with a member of staff first for us to provide you the cost of doing so and ensure that the item itself can be appropriately packaged on our site.

Please note: In some cases, packages may be too large or obscure in dimension for us to suitably package on site, we will advise you accordingly should this be the case.

Do we arrange Transport/shipping?

Bidnet Auctions can act as an agent for organising part of or the whole transport of your item. Transport is carried out by a contractor in the shipping and removal industry.

What do I need to do to prepare for delivery?

We understand that preparing for deliveries can incur stress. Bidnet Auctions suggest you should make suitable arrangements in preparation for the delivery of your item. Preparation for delivery includes having yourself (or a trusted friend/family member) on site to receive the delivery.

Please note: Certain items will require relative lifting equipment, please ensure this type of machine is on site and its lifting capability is checked in correspondence to the item / items purchased.

What do I do if goods haven’t arrived?

Please allow 24 business hours after your expected delivery date before contacting us regarding a suspected missed/failed delivery.

Please note: Most couriers provide an (estimated) time of delivery therefore 24 hours should be given after the delivery date before raising a query.

I haven't received my item / all my items?

We understand this is a frustrating occurrence however, we can only provide assistance in your matter if we facilitated the transport/shipping of your item. If we were involved in the organisation of your transport, please contact a member of our team.

Please note: Ensure to leave 24 business hours after the ETA before contacting our offices.

If you have received some items but one or more complete items are missing, please notify transport company first (include photographic evidence of items present on delivery vehicle before unloading).
